We routinely interpret a wide variety of geochemical data, including basic total organic carbon (TOC) and pyrolysis data, thermal indicators, and oil and extract data. We specialize in using source-rock kinetics data to provide kinetic parameters for use in basin modeling, for distinguishing distinct organofacies, and for application as a new thermal indicator as well as to distinguish different organofacies. We also specialize in integrating geochemical data of all types with geological data and with building, calibrating, and running maturity models. This approach allows us to create a living history of the time period and area of interest, in the belief that in this way we have the best opportunity to discover new plays or to fully exploit old ones. Finally, we are strongly but not exclusively involved in unconventional plays, where our new and unique source-rock kinetics approach is an essential part of exploration programs.
